Being next to Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is equally magnificent. As it is less frequently visited than Ha Long Bay you will find a more authentic and less crowded scenery which than inHa Long Bay. Legends say that the Child Dragon landed hereand created this spectacular landscape. Bai Tu Long Bay was naturally formed by geological movement million years ago. As a result many caves and grottos in this area were formed with many unique shapes, different characteristics and own legends. Referring to Bai Tu Long, we cannot forget to mention lots of wonderful caves such as Phat Co cave, Soi Nhu cave or Dong Trong grotto.

Day 1: Hanoi - Van Don - Bai Tu Long bay - Quan Lan island (Lunch)

07:30 - 08:00 Our Minivan and Guide pick you up at your hotel in the Old quarter area.

8:00 Departing from Hanoi, we drive on the Express way to Van Don district (about 3 hours) and then stop at Cai Rong pier.

11:30 we embark on a boat ride which takes us through some traditional fish farms and the most stunning compressed and twisted islets, formed by mountain creation movement that occurred nearly 500 million years ago. Also there’s time to have lunch with fresh sea food bought from local market.

13:00 After having lunch we will go exploring the magnificent Phat Co cave. We will have a chance to discover the biggest cave in Bai Tu Long Bay which is hidden under the foliage and craggy cliffs, before we continue navigating through the stunning limestone scenery of the bay.

15:00 Kayaking is one of the best ways to have a close glimpse of the picturesque limestone outcrops and observe delightful floating houses and oyster farms. 

Those who are feeling energetic and wish to get a close view of the scenic rock formations can climb aboard a sea kayak for a leisurely exploration of the bay.

And also after kayaking there is no better way to experience wild nature of Bai Tu Long than Swimming – Dipping in cool jade-green water of Bai Tu Long bay you will feel free and relaxed.

Then we transfer you to Minh Chau port and get picked up by Electric cart to the Homestay. Stay overnight in the Homestay on Quan lan island.

Day 2: Quan lan island biking around - Hanoi

In the morning you get free bikes to discover the island on your own, you can see the local fish market in the early morning, relaxing on the beautifull empty beaches in Son Hao or Minh Chau.

You get back to the boat in the middle of the afternoon and get back to Cai Rong pier It's a wonderful way to enjoy the last minutes of the day by having a cup of tea or coffee, before we leave the bay behind and head back to Hanoi.

We break the journey with a refreshment in highway resting stop

20:00 Arrive in Hanoi and farewell .
